🏗️Technical Architecture

The 1FUEL cold storage solution uses a combination of secure element chips, multi-signature (multi-sig) support, and a user-friendly interface to provide a robust security system:

Secure Element Chips

Hardware Security: Secure element chips are specialized hardware components designed to store sensitive data such as private keys. These chips are isolated from the main device, ensuring that even if the device is compromised, the private keys remain secure.

Tamper-Resistant Design: The chips are built to resist tampering attempts, making it extremely difficult for attackers to extract private keys through physical means.

Multi-Signature (Multi-Sig) Support

Multi-Sig Transactions: Multi-sig requires multiple approvals before a transaction can be completed. For example, a user might set up their cold storage to require signatures from both their cold wallet and a secondary device (such as a mobile phone) before funds can be transferred.

Enhanced Security: By requiring multiple signatures, the risk of unauthorized transactions is significantly reduced, as an attacker would need to compromise multiple devices to execute a transaction.

User Interface

Seamless Access: The 1FUEL wallet provides a streamlined interface for managing cold storage, making it accessible even to non-technical users. This interface simplifies the process of moving funds into and out of cold storage without compromising security.
